Confined spaces are some of the most dangerous environments to work in. The risk of entrapment coupled with lack of oxygen, potential exposure to hazardous material or poisonous gases can often make undertaking a rescue challenging.

Under the Confined Space Regulations, your business is legally required to have a set of emergency arrangements in the event of an accident for those working in temporary or permanent confined spaces.

Johnson Controls’ approach to emergency arrangements and planning involves understanding how to prevent an accident in the first place. Johnson Controls will identify the specific risks within each confined space on your site and provide you with a plan tailored to suit your requirements. In particular, we look at risk areas including, access, egress, atmosphere monitoring and working at height.
