Marine Case Study - Oil Storage Vessels

The Liverpool Bay Development uses an offshore storage installation to remove the need for tankers to dock in the bay. Johnson Controls supplied and have maintained the ESD and F&G System on board this OSI vessel for its operator BHP Billiton Petroleum Limited since its inception. The vessel currently operates adjacent to the Douglas, Lennox and Hamilton fields from where the oil is piped.

The F&G System is based on FE2003A-1 hardwired control modules whilst the ESD system is based on the HIMA Planar series solid state modules in a dual redundant configuration.
