By eliminating the need for control cards and keypad codes, with our cutting-edge facial recognition technology you can experience the future of access control with our advanced, secure, and personalised biometric security solutions.

What is biometric facial recognition?

Biometric facial recognition is an effective touch-free access control solution.  Used to verify authorised users entering controlled areas of warehouses, factories or offices.

Access facial recognition is fast becoming popular in a range of industries. Here’s how facial recognition works:

  • Captures an image of an individual’s face
  • Reads the geometry of the face, assessing aspects including facial landmarks and the distance between features, to determine a ‘facial signature’
  • Compares and analysing the unique signature to a database of known faces
  • Grants or deny access based on whether there is a database match

What are the advantages of facial recognition?

  • It is faster than other biometric technologies such as fingerprint or retina scans
  • It is more efficient than traditional access control methods, with fewer touch points than PIN or passwords
  • It is easy to integrate as a well-established technology included in most smartphones
  • It is a convenient solution that eliminates the need to manage physical keys that can get lost or stolen or remember complex passwords

How secure is access facial recognition?

Face recognition software is now established as a standard security solution.

According to the Apple report, the probability that a random person could unlock your iPhone or iPad using Face ID is less than 1 in 1,000,000.

Encouraging statistics from the national institute of Standards and Technology show false identifications have dropped from a rate of 4.1% to just 0.08% between 2014 and 2020.

Indeed, financial institutions now rely on biometric recognition to protect customers and their assets because it is deemed a more accurate access control than simply using a mobile number, email address, mailing address, or IP address.
