The Effective Protection of Passengers, Crew, Vessels and Assets does not mean that you have to suffer Repeated False and Unwanted Alarms

Our marine-approved networked devices offer innovative and time-saving benefits.
Carbon monoxide detection is combined with heat and smoke detection in one device to provide the ultimate in cost-effective detection technology.
Carbon monoxide detection offers an early response to real fires, whilst remaining immune to many sources of false and unwanted alarms.

Benefits of Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detection

Zettler MZX Technology detection technology delivers early, reliable detection of all fire types, whilst remaining immune to most sources of false and unwanted alarms such as steam, insect infestation, and dirt build up.

Using some of the most powerful fire algorithms in the world, we can proactively determine when a device is going out of specification due to dirt build up and report that a service change is necessary. All devices have their own unique address which allows the control panel to inform building managers exactly where the seat of any event or incident is whether a real fire or an unlikely fault.

CO detection has proven to react so quickly to slow, smoldering fires (typically found in sleeping accommodation during quiet hours), that lives can be saved by issuing an early alarm notification to the presence of fire. This is a critical benefit for all sleeping risks, particularly in care homes where elderly and vulnerable persons are present.

Additional Benefits:

  • Quick detection of fire, smoke, or heat events, allowing orderly evacuation and mitigation of potential fire damage
  • Solutions are tailored to your facility and integrated with fire suppression systems where needed
  • Internet-based diagnostic service offers real-time visibility and automates the detection and notification of abnormal conditions
  • Alerts when detectors are dirty or almost dirty and more vulnerable to problems
  • Sensors evaluate environmental data and compensate for contamination to maintain detector sensitivity and decrease the chance of false alarms
  • CO elements can operate independently or in combination with a smoke or heat sensor, helping reduce unnecessary alarms

Why You Need Generation 6 Fire Detectors

In large vessels such as cruise liners many different activities take place onboard, including canteens/restaurants, cinemas, bars, small shops and gyms. It can be a challenge to find detection solutions that can satisfy the needs of multi-use vessels whilst limiting unwanted false alarms to an absolute minimum.

Generation 6, Multi Sensor Detectors can help overcome this problem. The Multi Sensor Detector has six detection modes, and employs three detection channels; heat, smoke, and combustion gas (carbon monoxide) in order to effectively and rapidly detect fire conditions.
