Manage your critical environments confidence and ease

Whether you manage operating suites, patient isolation rooms, compounding pharmacies, or laboratories, you need an HVAC system that will help provide clean air to your spaces.

The FMS-2000C Critical Environment Controller helps to ensure patient and staff safety by continuously verifying the room pressure and airflow of up to four spaces simultaneously. Control or monitor up to six parameters with varying pressure, temperature, humidity, CO2, airflow, and air changes. Network variables can also be controlled or monitored.

The controller provides a superior level of protection all while meeting regulatory compliance and energy reduction requirements.

Visibility for your most critical spaces with the 360° Safety Halo

The FMS-2000C display provides maximum room status visibility where you need it most. If the set parameters go out of range, it immediately updates with an audible alarm and yellow (warning) or red (alarm) visual alerts. The 360° Safety Halo edge lighting enables staff to easily monitor spaces down long corridors. The audible alarm has a snooze button on the home screen to temporarily silence it and help reduce audible alarm fatigue.

Enhanced security

For added security, there are two password-protected access levels, commonly used for administrators and nurses or other end users. Administrative users have an alphanumeric password and restricted users use a PIN.

The controller’s non-volatile memory also saves all user settings in case of a power outage.

360˚ Safety Halo™

The 360˚ Safety Halo’s action icons and screen color change whenever the measured parameters go out of range. This provides easy to recognize room status indicators from a distance and in dim lighting.

A superior display

The redesigned user interface features intuitive menus and large, easy-to-read status and sensor readings. Easily tap or swipe through screens like using a mobile device. The sleek 5" touchscreen has a high definition 720 x 1280 resolution and works with rubber gloves.

The thin mount display is 1.17” deep and sits 0.5” off the wall surface to minimize interference in busy hallways.

Customize the display to fit your needs

Users can configure the display to show multiple parameters on one screen and add identifying labels to each parameter panel so you can quickly recognize which space and system need immediate attention.

Highly configurable

  • Support for 4 spaces
  • Standard model controls 6 hardwired parameters
  • 2 Thermistors (these inputs for temperature free up analog inputs for other needs)
  • 4 Digital outputs (used for monitoring door switches, occupancy sensors, and override switches)
  • 4 Analog outputs
  • 4 Relay outputs

Cleaning mode

Cleaning mode was designed to flush the air of contaminants between patients requiring airborne infection isolation rooms (AIIR).

Once a room is no longer in use, staff can tap the fan icon on the home screen to activate the cleaning mode. The exhaust valves then open to the maximum setting and run for a set time to quickly purge the room. When the status ring completes its circuit, the room is returned to its preconfigured state and is ready to receive the next patient.

Optimize building performance and create a flexible facility ready for the future

The FMS-2000C utilizes BACnet® MS/TP and seamlessly integrates into Metasys and third-party building automation systems.

The FMS-2000C’s four digital relay outputs enable facility managers to activate energy-saving setbacks when allowed by compliance standards.

The updated controller also features new writable isolation modes that allow facility managers to change room isolation modes (positive / neutral / negative) from the BAS dashboard and the display itself. This feature aids in creating a flexible facility ready to adjust to changing needs.
