Reliable Fume Hood Control

The HMS-1655 Fume Hood Controller regulates air entering and exiting the fume hood. The fume hood controller features an intuitive touchscreen display that simultaneously monitors sash height, face velocity, exhaust, hood status, time, and date.

Using occupancy, sidewall, and sash position sensors the controller provides a closed-loop system for more reliable airflow readings. In case of a spill or accident a red emergency purge button is anchored on the home screen and the user can easily activate it with the tap of a finger to quickly flush the entire fume hood with fresh air.

Paired with our Venturi air valves, we can provide a safe and efficient fume hood exhaust system ideal for universities, laboratories, and research facilities.

The HMS-1655 provides occupants with the confidence that they are safe from toxic airflow. For added security, there are four password-protected access levels. The controller’s non-volatile memory also saves all user settings to prevent data loss in case of a power outage or other malfunction.

Energy Efficient

The Zone Presence Sensor (ZPS) is an occupancy sensor that communicates with the HMS-1655 to place the fume hood into a setback mode to save energy during non-use hours.

360˚ Safety Halo™

The HMS-1655 features the 360˚ Safety Halo™, a color-coded visual and audible alarm with edge lighting for maximum hood status visibility. Users can monitor multiple fume hoods from across the room and in dimly lit spaces. Its audible alarm can also be easily muted with one tap to reduce alarm fatigue.
